2011 has been a busy year for Jason Phillips. At only 28, he has gained international recognition in the furniture industry. In the first two months of this year alone, he has been published in over a dozen design and lifestyle magazines as well as over 150 blogs. It seems people are not only amazed at his fresh, contemporary designs, but with the speed with which he is moving. Jason is Vice President and Creative Director at his family’s furniture company, The Phillips Collection. He also runs his own brand, Jason Phillips Design, through which he has won some of the most prestigious awards in his industry and routinely travels to design centers around the country and speak on panels regarding interior design.
“I take all of this success with a lot of humility,” Jason remarks. “I’m still Jason. Still just a 28 year old with the same interests as others my age…I just happen to be extremely motivated and have been fortunate in my life to be able to extrapolate on the things that matter to me.”
